Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Sanford, FL (32771). This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). And a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation!

Specific Duties:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, patient-focused approach.
• Strong clinical skills, including taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and administering injections.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EKGs, clinical equipment, and other essential medical procedures.
• Knowledge of examination room preparation, sterilization, and infection-control protocols.
• Ability to efficiently assist physicians and support the clinical team while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Requirements :

• Active Medical Assistant certification
• Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Centre or the
• Proven good communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required
• Good communication and customer service skills required
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant

• Location: Sanford, FL (32771)
• Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire
• Shift days: Monday - Friday
• Schedule: 8 AM-5 PM
• Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr. on W2
