A privately held real estate investment and development firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of five retail shopping centers totaling approximately 250,000 square feet and 50 tenants. The portfolio focuses on neighborhood and value-add retail assets.

Your new role

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day property operations across the portfolio, including:

• Managing daily operations, property maintenance, financial performance, and tenant relations
• Coordinating and overseeing vendors and contractors, including negotiating scopes of work
• Conducting regular property inspections, scheduling repairs, and ensuring compliance from tenants and vendors
• Ensuring properties meet all local jurisdiction requirements, including fire and life safety regulations
• Handling project accounting, including accurate income receipting and timely payment of expenses
• Preparing and maintaining monthly rent rolls and operating budgets
• Producing year-end financial statements and lender-required reporting
• Preparing annual CAM budgets and completing CAM reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of commercial property management experience, with a strong focus on retail shopping centers
• CPM or RPA designation preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Proven ability to interpret complex lease language and resolve issues involving multiple variables
• Solid financial acumen, including CAM budgeting and reconciliations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Yardi or similar property management software
