AI/ML Logic Design Engineer Senior

Salary: $133,900 - 200,900 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline plus 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related role.
• Alternatively, we accept a masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline plus 1+ year of experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related role.
• We also consider candidates with a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• We require 2+ years of experience in high-performance microprocessor design.
• We look for strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and a deep understanding of RTL design methodologies.
• We need a solid foundation in AI/ML concepts.
• We require proficiency in Python, Perl, and shell scripting for design automation and tooling.
• We look for experience using Git and other version control systems.

• We need the ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• We collaborate closely with architects, micro-architects, and other logic designers to define and develop microarchitecture for future generations of our Hexagon NPU.
• We drive RTL design in SystemVerilog and own features from concept through tape-out.
• We perform early logic synthesis, static timing analysis, and power estimation to validate design decisions before full implementation.
• We evaluate the design pipeline end to end, from instruction set architecture through microarchitecture, RTL development, and synthesis feasibility.
• We use industry-standard digital design tools, including simulators, synthesis engines, and power/performance analysis frameworks.
• We debug, optimize, and improve EDA tool flows, identifying and resolving tool-related issues to increase design iteration efficiency.
• We provide rapid power, performance, and area feasibility analysis and feedback on new design features.
