Customs Specialist - Entry Writer

Duties Perform Customs business activities Transactions with U.S. Customs (CBP) Conduct effective research Communicate with clients and CBP Manage Customs entries and monitor clearance Ensure compliance with customs regulations Maintain required documents under 19 CFR 163 Coordinate with internal teams and customs brokers Support development of customs compliance procedures Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Customs brokerage U.S. Customs Brokerage License (preferred) Certification in customs compliance or related area (preferred) Strong knowledge of customs regulations, processes, and documentation Attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Computer Literacy in customs management software and Microsoft Office suite Fluent in English (oral and written) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Customs brokerage, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective management of customs entries. Proficient in customs management software and skilled in analytical problem‑solving and communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
