Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Willingness to participate in workplace safety training.

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of sit-down forklift operating experience required.
• Experience loading and unloading freight from trailers and trucks.
• Background working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience moving, staging, and organizing freight within warehouse locations.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cross-dock warehouse environment.
• Experience handling large, heavy, or "big box" freight shipments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods.
• Capability to work in varying warehouse conditions.

Job Duties

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and store freight safely.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring shipment accuracy.
• Break down incoming freight shipments and sort materials by destination.
• Move products in and out of warehouse racking and staging areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
