Growing togetherThe Analytic Consultant provides year-round strategic consultative services with an integrated focus on the UnitedHealthcare Value Story by diving deep into the analytics of health plan performance to further support UnitedHealth Group's position as a trusted advisor and carrier of choice. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:This role is part of a team/pod that supports complex employer groups within National Markets, generally within a geographic regionConsultants will serve as primary contact and project manager for assigned clientsConsultants will create compelling, client-specific insights and content for a variety of client engagements with the assistance of Regional Director as necessaryConsultant will focus on insights and storytelling. Distillation of compelling and/or actionable insights from data and reporting is requiredWill present a portion of client engagements based on client needs (internal/external)Mastery and seamless navigation of data, tools, and related resources will be necessary for success in telling a story with actionable insightsIn-depth knowledge of adopted and proposed client solutionsParticipate and complete colleague feedback reviews on an ongoing basis for the podSuccess will be determined by the relevance and depth of insightsShare best practices amongst the teamCollaborate and cross train pod members as neededCollaborate with the broader Account Management Team (AMTs) and other internal business partners to solve complex customer analytic needs and serve as a strategic analytic subject matter expertCommunicate information openly and in an articulate and professional manner as a strategic consultative subject matter expertYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience3+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably within a sales, account management, TPA, or consulting environmentKnowledgeable of healthcare cost and quality topics, as well as able to speak to emerging industry trendsIntermediate or higher skills within Office 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated clear and concise written & verbal communication skills; successful virtual presentation experience Demonstrated presentation skills, preferably with a director-level and higher audiencePreferred Qualification:Experience in data analytics, data science, or statisticsTravelTravel may be required up to 20% of the time*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
