Composite Structural Engineer

Job Description:

Design and analyze mechanical and composite product structures.
Create 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, and FEA.
Evaluate sheet metal, plastics, castings, and material selection.
Conduct product testing, analyze failures, and validate design performance.
Develop test procedures and recommend design improvements.
Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Experience in product design and manufacturing.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, GD&T, and FEA.
Knowledge of metal and polymer materials and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical, testing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage projects independently.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
