Job Description

CDL Class A Flatbed / Step Deck Driver

Jones Environmental Transportation is looking for an experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded professional with experience hauling freight on flatbed or step deck trailers .

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A
Tanker endorsement REQUIRED
Hazmat endorsement REQUIRED
Flatbed and/or step deck experience
Clean and safe driving record
Must have a strong commitment to safety and following DOT regulations
Must be dependable, responsible, and professional
TWIC Card preferred
Ability to properly secure and transport various types of freight

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer with flatbed or step deck equipment
Transport loads safely and efficiently
Properly secure, inspect, and monitor cargo
Complete required DOT and company paperwork
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety requirements
Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and management
Maintain a clean and safe truck and work environment

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced CDL driver who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of proper load securement, and consistently puts safety first. Tanker and Hazmat endorsements are mandatory for this position.
