About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience required. License: RCIS / ARRT required. Certifications: BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: - Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience required. - Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities. - Ability to maintain confidentiality. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. - Effective interpersonal skills. Description: The Cath Lab Technician works in a multidisciplinary lab. This role supports patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. The technician performs scrub and monitoring duties. They utilize all aspects of catheterization equipment. The technician applies prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment. Candidates must possess the ability to handle varying priorities effectively. Maintaining confidentiality is crucial in this role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Interpersonal skills are also a key requirement.
