Logistics Dispatch Specialist - Liquids

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the dispatch of sales orders across multiple locations, ensuring product availability, proper driver and equipment alignment, and optimized delivery routes in compliance with DOT regulations. Review open order reports and collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Customer Service, and transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Maintain proactive communication with internal teams and external vendors regarding delivery status, delays, and evolving customer requirements. Oversee dispatch operations within D365, including order tracking, documentation, and electronic ticketing processes to support accurate and timely billing. Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase dispatch efficiency, maximize resource utilization, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Provide support during urgent or unexpected situations (e.g., equipment breakdowns, schedule changes), including occasional after‑hours coordination when necessary. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and established work procedures. Perform all responsibilities in alignment with the Business Management System (BMS) and in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree or technical certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. At least 3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation coordination, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of DOT and safety regulations is highly preferred. Experience with ERP systems is required; familiarity with D365 is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting demands. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate dispatch and delivery records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
