Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures to support patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• Certification: CNMT required.
• State licensure to practice nuclear medicine in Texas (Texas Medical Board).
• BLS certification.
• Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment and cardiac imaging required.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and Texas regulations required.
• Experience in procedures such as bone scans, thyroid scans, renal scans, HIDA, gastric emptying, pulmonary ventilation, liver scans, GI bleed imaging preferred.
• Ability to float to X-Ray when needed.
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Y-90 procedures preferred.
• Experience with lymphoscintigraphy procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR and McKesson PACS preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 09:30–18:00.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities and willingness to assist with weekend shifts.
• Typical unit equipment: GE nuclear medicine systems.
• Scrub color: Hunter green.
