Travel Physical Therapist - $2,319 per week

Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. The assignment begins ASAP and includes 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using a range of techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth patient transitions. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred). Physical Therapy experience; new graduates welcome. Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Requirements & Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; PC skills required. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, and manipulate equipment (50–100 lbs). Effective collaboration with diverse personnel. Attention to detail and ability to handle frequent public contact under pressure. Good visual acuity and communication skills.
