Sales DirectorCanonsburg, PA | $130,000 to $150,000 Per YearThis established, growth oriented organization is hiring a Sales Director to take ownership of its sales organization and help drive the next stage of profitable growth. Reporting to senior executive leadership, this person will have responsibility for sales performance, team development, pipeline management, forecasting, strategic account growth, new business development, and channel and partner relationships. This is a hands on leadership role that combines strategic planning with day to day involvement in coaching, customer meetings, and opportunity reviews.ScheduleFull time, with approximately 40 to 50% travel to support the team and customers.Compensation$130,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience.What You’ll DoThe Sales Director builds a high performance sales culture centered on accountability, preparation, activity, and results, leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals while establishing clear performance expectations across territories and assigned markets. This person conducts regular one on one coaching, pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity reviews, works alongside sales team members in the field, and participates in key customer meetings. The role includes strengthening the team’s effectiveness in prospecting, discovery, presentations, negotiation, objection handling, and closing, identifying performance gaps, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of future sales talent. Working with executive leadership, the Sales Director establishes and manages sales metrics covering customer and prospect meetings, new account development, qualified opportunities, win rates, pipeline quality and velocity, forecast accuracy, and CRM data integrity. This person also establishes revenue objectives and growth plans, identifies priority accounts and new business opportunities, and builds relationships with external sales channels and strategic business partners. The role involves developing strategic accounts, expanding relationships beyond a single point of contact, and participating directly in customer presentations, negotiations, and business reviews. The Sales Director owns pipeline and forecast discipline, ensuring accurate CRM usage and providing executive leadership with clear reporting on sales performance, forecasts, wins and losses, and emerging risks.
