Salary: $87,000 - 187,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a listed or related field, plus at least 4 years of software development experience.
• At least 4 years designing and delivering backend services, APIs, distributed systems, developer platforms, or cloud services.
• At least 4 years programming in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience deploying applications on a cloud platform such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, querying, and backend integration.
• Experience in software design, API integration, automated testing, code reviews, debugging, and secure coding.
• Experience supporting production services through monitoring, observability, incident response, reliability work, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with engineering, architecture, security, product, and business stakeholders.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with AI-enabled applications, generative AI, developer tools, or enterprise productivity applications.
• Preferred: Experience with Codex or similar AI coding tools, and with LLM patterns such as prompt design, RAG, tool/function calling, agents, memory, evaluations, and model routing.
• Preferred: Experience building AI plugins, skills, GPT integrations, reusable workflows, shared AI services, or MCP servers and tools connected to enterprise systems.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI control and data planes, AI security and privacy, model-access controls, and policy-based model selection.

• Design, build, deliver, and maintain secure, scalable AI solutions that enhance employee productivity.
• Develop AI control- and data-plane services, Codex integrations, memory capabilities, and model-routing components within established architecture.
• Create reusable AI plugins, skills, GPT integrations, applications, backend services, APIs, and workflows for enterprise use.
• Use Codex and other AI development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation while upholding engineering standards.
• Work with technical leads, product managers, and partner teams to define needs, assess approaches, and take features from prototype to production.
• Connect AI models with enterprise applications, data, and workflows, using runtime and middleware patterns that support interoperability and multi-tenant scale.
• Contribute to architecture and code reviews; apply secure coding, API versioning, compatibility, deprecation, and safe rollout practices.
• Build automated tests and AI evaluations to assess functionality, accuracy, security, reliability, and performance.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues across models, plugins, services, and integrations, and use employee and stakeholder feedback to improve products.
• Establish logging, monitoring, telemetry, and observability; support service-level objectives, capacity planning, resilience, and operational improvements.
• Develop AI cost and usage capabilities, including attribution, forecasting, token budgets, alerts, and reporting.
• Implement model selection and usage controls that balance cost, quality, risk, and performance; improve token and context efficiency through caching, context management, and workload-specific routing.
• Produce technical guidance, migration materials, and adoption playbooks, and share practices that support maintainable AI adoption.
