Role Description This full-time Insurance Sales Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Franklin, TN, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Insurance Sales Specialist will engage with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate Home, Auto, Life, and other coverage options. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing quotes, following up on leads, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records in agency systems. The role also involves delivering responsive customer service, handling policy changes and renewals, and collaborating with the team to meet sales goals and service standards. The Insurance Sales Specialist will represent the agency in a professional manner, supporting community-focused outreach and contributing to a positive, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Experience in Customer Service, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term client relationships.
• Background in Insurance Brokerage and Health Insurance, or the ability to learn and support multiple lines of coverage.
• Relevant state insurance licensing (or willingness and ability to obtain required licenses within a set timeframe).
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with a professional and inclusive approach to all clients.
• Comfort with technology and CRM or agency management systems, plus basic proficiency in standard office software tools.
• Goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Prior experience in sales, financial services, or an insurance agency environment is beneficial but not strictly required.
