Attorney - Family Law

We are looking for an attorney to join its practice. The firm primarily handles family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and other domestic relations issues, but welcomes candidates with experience in other practice areas and an interest in developing their own client base. Prior family law experience is preferred.

The firm utilizes modern technology and offers flexibility, including remote work opportunities. While remote work is available, candidates should expect to spend time in the office during the onboarding and training period to become familiar with the firm's systems and processes.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct client representation. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and capable of balancing strong client advocacy with professional objectivity.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota.

• Family law experience is preferred but not required.

• No minimum experience requirement; compensation will be commensurate with experience.

• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client management skills.

• Excellent legal writing and drafting abilities.

• Comfortable working in a flexible and self-directed work environment.

Compensation

Compensation is highly dependent on experience, qualifications, and business development potential. Candidates bringing an existing book of business may be eligible for compensation above the stated range.

Work Environment

The firm supports a hybrid work environment and provides the tools necessary for remote work. However, occasional in-person meetings and court appearances may be required depending on practice needs.
