We focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.Our location in Sylmar, CA currently has an opportunity for a Staff Facilities Engineer.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE•Provide direction, leadership and management for Maintenance area•Utilize Maintenance Excellence metrics to achieve maintenance productivity, compliance, and financial goals while driving a highlevel of performance within the functional area.•Actively support the professional development of individuals.•Foster continuous improvement and encourage open communication.•Interacts effectively and cooperatively, handles changes in work tasks and environment and takes prompt action to accomplishobjectives.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES• Department Strategy to meet site goals: mandated training, bench marking, MeX/continuous improvement of planned &• scheduled maintenance work, EMP improvements based on Maximo analysis of Work order history• Planning & scheduling project work, critical spare replacements• Ensures compliance to GMP/ISO, EHS policies and regulations and AV Quality System requirements within Maintenance.• On the Job Training for Supervisors, Equipment Engineers & Technicians. Coordinate instructor led training for• Process/equipment knowledge including process/equipment green belt/problem solving• Spare parts & Obsolescence analysis• Ensures supply continuity through maintenance and repair of Production and Quality equipment.QUALIFICATIONSEducationEducation Level Major/Field of Study or EquivalentBachelors Degree ( 16 years) Business Administration,Engineering or relateddiscipline preferred3An equivalent combination ofeducation and work experienceExperience/BackgroundExperience Experience DetailsMinimum 8 years Previous facilities or maintenance management experience. Supervisory experiencepreferred.•Knowledge of the Quality System with understanding of the CAPA system and interrelatedsystem.•Experience selecting and managing vendors and contracts.•Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive andconstructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve businessresults. Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.•Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
