Position Summary:

The Custodian will work with the Janitorial Staff to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming Office. This will include fulfilling light maintenance requests, Light PM work on the HVAC system, and supporting the janitors and serving as a backup in the event of call outs.

Responsibilities:

1. Light building maintenance including but not limited to; painting, wall hangings, running wires, moving equipment, etc....

2. Light HVAC maintenance including filter replacements

3. Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.

4. Assist with setting up and teardown of meeting spaces and events.

5. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.

6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

7. Assist with outdoor maintenance, such as snow removal or landscaping, as needed.

8. Will Serve as the team lead for the cleaning staff and will fill in as a backup in the event of call outs or other staffing issues.

9. Event assistance (training room set up, event set up and breakdown, assist security with parking lot coordination)

10. Cold/Inclement weather assistance (spreading salt, clearing/shoveling walkways)

11. Assist with cubical, office moves, and office equipment repair (setup & breakdown of cubical equipment/office desk repairs)


12. Other assigned duties as designated by department manager or supervisor in a timely fashion

Working Relationships: Entire Store Support Center (SSC) as they work throughout the facility.

Requirements:
Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:

Trade School

Minimum Experience:

1-2 Years Maintenance Experience

Preferred Experience:

3-4 Years Maintenance Experience

Licenses/Certifications:

Soft Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Hours & Conditions: Monday - Friday 8 hour day in office setting

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Grasping/Griping/fine manipulation
• Pushing/pulling/bending/kneeling/twisting/climbing on a regular basis
• Carrying/sitting/walking/standing and lifting above shoulder level on a regular basis
