Position Details:
- Title: Business Development Consultant 2
- Location: Peoria, IL (100% Onsite)
- Duration: 6 months
- Pay Rate: $24/hour
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design , or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning & Development, or Training Design
- Experience creating and developing training courses and learning materials
- Strong understanding of ADDIE instructional design methodology
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Experience conducting business needs analysis
- Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship management skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with dominKnow ONE, Questionmark, DACUM, or Caterpillar products is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training modules, courses, and learning programs
- Conduct business needs analyses to identify learning requirements
- Apply instructional design best practices to create effective training solutions
- Review and update training materials to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Gather and analyze training performance metrics and ROI to improve program effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customer-focused learning solutions
- Support Customer Care and Cat Connect initiatives through training and development programs
- Maintain instructional content and ensure materials remain current and relevant
- Provide consulting and support on learning and development initiatives
- Travel up to 10% domestically as needed
