Department Manager

Overview Position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the sole employer and handles all employment matters. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts weekly to ensure fast, accurate, friendly service. Some managers lead a department, managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results. Hospitality Department Manager ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, sales promotions are executed well, all service staff are trained, and Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service. Quality Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality food, maintains safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures. People Department Manager hires qualified crew, trains and schedules staff to meet sales and profit goals, provides support and motivation throughout employment. Qualifications Prior managerial experience required, preferably within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Positive team player with flexible schedule, passion for fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older to serve as manager in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
