Contract | Evening Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 13:00–01:30 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required
• Perform triage and manage a high patient ratio, potentially ranging from 1:5–6 and up to 1:8 during peak volume or holidays
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (compact license not accepted; must be active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (certifications may not be pending beyond contract start date)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ability to complete non-billable orientation modules (approximately 5 hours) prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification preferred
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
• Emergency department triage experience
