Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM Sun: 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, office spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns. Support a professional presence at a government-related transit location by following assigned post responsibilities, providing information to the public, and reporting maintenance or operational issues that may affect daily operations. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Baton certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
