Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Help kids find their stride — on a team that has your back. Oaklin Lane is hiring a PTA to join our neighborhood clinic in Lake Highlands — a clinician ready to grow their skills under a supervising PT who actually has time to mentor. You’ll work alongside a dedicated supervising PT and a supportive team, with consistent mentorship and a clinic purpose-built for how kids actually move. About Oaklin Lane Oaklin Lane is your neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic — a growing network of purpose-built clinics providing compassionate, expert care to kids from infancy through adolescence. We believe in evidence-backed therapy where hard work feels like play, and progress happens on each kid’s own terms. What you’ll do Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed PT Help kids with positioning, transfers, and mobility using gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, or other aids Support the PT in implementing individualized treatment plans targeting strength, balance, coordination, and motor skills Document progress, activities, and observations in our EMR with accuracy and care Keep therapy spaces and equipment clean and safe Show up for team meetings to collaborate on patient care and goal-setting Keep growing your craft through continuing education Communicate clearly with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates Why this role at Oaklin Lane A space built for the work. Who you are You are: Self-motivated and mission-driven Eager to grow in pediatrics Someone who meets kids where they are A team player Physically able to safely lift, transfer, and assist children during therapy You bring: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Texas PTA licensure Experience with the pediatric population or a strong desire to specialize Basic understanding of common childhood physical conditions and treatment strategies What to expect Schedule: Full-time · Monday - Thursday · 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break) · Four-day work week · No nights or weekends Stipend for medical, vision, and dental 401(k) with employer match Paid CEUs, licensure, and certification renewal All therapy materials and supplies provided Mentorship and a clear pathway for career growth In-person at an Oaklin Lane clinic in Lake Highlands Come see what we are building The first move is the hardest one — we’ll take you through the rest.
