Role Overview The ideal Senior Accountant candidate is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks and will be a key player in ensuring the accounting and reporting function scales and supports the company’s rapid growth. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key to the success of the Senior Accountant. This is a work‑from‑home position with location preference in the San Francisco/Bay Area, LosAngeles/Southern California, NewYork City, Austin, and Boston. Some travel to in‑person company events is required, approximately 2‑3 weeks out of the year. In‑person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary). Responsibilities Perform day‑to‑day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, GL, and other duties as assigned. Assist with the monthly close process by posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting ad‑hoc financial analysis. Maintain regular contact and build solid working relationships across groups to ensure high‑level customer service and quality work product. Assist on projects and ad‑hoc assignments as needed. Requirements Solid understanding of GAAP. Experience with standard software solutions, e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta. Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills. Fast learner with a high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learn. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Enjoy a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience working in a fast‑paced technology or professional services environment. Professional Attributes Professional integrity. Salary Range Attivo offers a competitive base salary plus bonus, and opportunities for advancement. The starting salary range for Senior Accountant is approximately \$100,000 to \$115,000 per year plus bonus.
