Daily tasks for our Estimators include, but are not limited to:
- Craft precise project estimates and proposals that exceed client expectations.
- Master every aspect of the estimating process, from blueprints to contract terms.
- Stay ahead of the curve in the Central Ohio construction market, identifying trends and seizing opportunities.
- Leverage industry connections to generate sales and provide top-notch electrical estimates.
- Embark on special projects to elevate our team to new heights.
Required Qualifications:
- Commercial electrical estimating experience
- 5+ years of commercial electrical field work, or similar experience
- Previous experience and working knowledge of the current NEC
- Able to problem solve and make decisions; keeping clients and employees informed of business decisions
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills; creating customer reports and highlighting key data
- Experience with electrical estimating software
Plus, if you bring:
- Experience in streamlining processes for maximum efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with AccuBid estimating software, CAD/BIM, or ERP systems.
