Job Description

Job Summary:

Conducts computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensures accurate imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Monitor patients' condition during procedures, responding to any adverse reactions or concerns.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure proper image acquisition and documentation.
Maintain all equipment, ensuring calibration and functionality are kept up to date.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid NJ DEP license necessary for operating CT equipment.
Possess an ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification.
Have at least 2 years of recent CT technologist experience.
Maintain current power chart experience or similar EHR proficiency.
Meet state licensure requirements prior to start date.
Be able to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, with no on-call responsibilities.
