Registered Nurse (RN) – Women’s Services Job Type: Full‑Time Schedule: 3x12, Nights (6:30p‑m to 7a‑m), Rotating Weekends About the Role As a registered nurse on the Women's Services team you will provide direct patient care in a small, collaborative hospital environment focused on patient well‑being and family support. You will have flexible self‑scheduling and partnership with a dedicated department that values ideas, development, and shared ownership of outcomes. Responsibilities Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current state RN license. Associate’s Degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire.
