Vehicle Safety Test Engineer

Position Title Vehicle Safety Test Engineer / Engineering & IT Duration Contract Location Newark, California, USA Responsibilities Operate test equipment and set up safety tests for client vehicles. Support test engineers and manage test operations. Collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership of work. Ensure all safety and consumer requirements for client vehicles are met through vehicle safety and crash testing. Candidate Requirements 5 overall years of experience in the field. Apprenticeship or technical certification suitable for technicians. Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Newark, CA. Preferred Skills Deep understanding of safety crash regulations and consumer test requirements. Understanding of HV components. Familiarity with homologation certifications for different markets. Experience testing high speed and/or quasi static setups. Top Hard Skills Minimum 5 years' experience with high voltage. Minimum 5 years' experience with crash testing and safety for vehicle.
