Community & Public Relations Manager

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. 5+ years of experience in public relations, community relations, public affairs, or corporate communications. Experience supporting infrastructure, construction, energy, utilities, telecommunications, technology, or data center industries preferred. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills. Experience working with executive leaders and external stakeholders. Excellent project management, organizational, and Microsoft 365 skills.

Job Description: Seeking a Community & Public Relations Manager to lead community engagement, public affairs, and stakeholder relations for infrastructure projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company, local communities, government agencies, industry organizations, media, and other external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder and communicator who can strengthen stakeholder trust, support project development, and enhance the company's reputation.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with government officials, community leaders, business organizations, and key stakeholders while serving as the primary representative for community outreach and engagement efforts.
• Leading public meetings, community events, and stakeholder communications, while monitoring community feedback and addressing concerns alongside project teams.
• Supporting government and stakeholder relations by coordinating communications related to permitting, zoning, development, and regulatory matters.
• Monitoring legislative and policy developments that may impact company operations and projects.
• Planning and executing community events, sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and strategic partnerships that strengthen the company's presence and community impact.
• Tracking engagement outcomes and evaluating the effectiveness of community investment programs.
• Supporting crisis communication planning, incident response, and stakeholder communications during sensitive or high-profile situations.
• Monitoring reputational risks and developing proactive communication strategies to protect and enhance the company's brand.
