Essential Functions

• Maintaining a Clean Work Area and reporting any Safety Hazards to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Participating in Safety Programs and Initiatives throughout the Plant.
• Knowing and observing all Quality and GMP Standards.
• Working efficiently and cooperating with Supervision and other Associates.
• Setting Up, Troubleshooting, Adjusting, and Operating equipment within specified ranges.
• Performing Changeovers on equipment.
• Performing Quality Inspections according to Operational Specifications for all Operations performed.
• Possess working knowledge of current Production Reporting System and how it applies to all positions.
• Performing basic Preventative Maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Maintaining and handling inventory, as necessary.
• Actively participating in Continuous Improvement activities including BD Production System (BDPS)
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned or needed.

Other Responsibilities

• Complying with all Local, State, Federal and BD Safety & Environmental Regulations, Standards, & Policies and Procedures.
• Complying with all Local BD Quality Policies/Procedures/Practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance Principle.

Supervision

• Reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor. Receives daily oversight and direction from the Label Print Shift Lead. Has no Supervision over other Associates.

Minimum Requirement

• High School Diploma or GED
