What You Will Do Implement the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians’ orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care. Perform assessments; monitor and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation; document nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and report findings to physicians as needed. Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed toward a safe discharge. Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment. Demonstrate service excellence and act as an ambassador and advocate for Firelands Health. What You Will Need Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR certification prior to patient care experience. Current ACLS, Basic EKG, and PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current. Board certification preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.
