I4Dentallab is looking for a talented CAD CAM Designer to join our close-knit dental laboratory team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys combining digital design skills with a strong understanding of dental anatomy and restorative principles to produce precise, high-quality dental restorations. In this role, you'll review incoming digital scans and case prescriptions, design restorations using CAD software, and work closely with milling and finishing teams to ensure each case meets exact specifications for fit, function, and aesthetics.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing crowns, bridges, veneers, copings, and other dental restorations using CAD CAM software
- Reviewing digital scans, impressions, and case prescriptions to ensure designs meet required specifications
- Preparing and adjusting digital models to achieve proper fit, contact, and occlusion
- Coordinating with milling technicians to ensure designs are compatible with production equipment and materials
- Making necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback from technicians, dentists, or quality checks
- Selecting appropriate materials and restoration types based on case requirements
- Maintaining accurate digital case files and documentation
- Troubleshooting scanning or design issues to keep production on schedule
- Collaborating with other lab team members to meet case deadlines
- Staying current on new CAD CAM software updates, materials, and industry best practices
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a CAD CAM Designer or in a similar dental laboratory role
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative design principles
- Comfort working with dental CAD CAM software and digital scanning systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret case prescriptions and digital scans accurately
- Familiarity with milling equipment and materials used in dental restorations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet case deadlines
