Power System Engineer

Power System Engineer Job Summary: This role will be responsible for designing and continually supporting our AC Switchgear product line. Primary Responsibilities: Engineer and design new UL891/1558 Switchgear and AC distribution products. Create and update as-built production drawings. Create part fabrication drawings. Support Production, Sales, and other team members. Stay up to date with the latest NEC, NFPA, IFC, and other applicable codes. Stay current with the latest technologies and components used in manufacturing. Knowledge & Skill Requirements Experience in designing UL891/1558 Switchgear and Power Systems. B.S. degree in a technical area of study preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Knowledge of current UL 891/1558 and NEC Standards. Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production drawings and 2D/3D models. Understanding of electrical circuits. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
