The ICU has 30 beds and treats a diverse patient population. Common conditions include sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol use and abuse, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Candidates should have experience with ventilators and other advanced medical equipment. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role. Applicants must be capable of handling high-stress situations and providing compassionate care. Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role requires a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the ICU setting.
