Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within the surgical services department. The RN will be responsible for assisting with various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to hospital protocols. The position requires a highly qualified professional with proven experience in operating room settings.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, current VA State License or Compact license, and certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Specialty Experience: Experience with robotic surgeries, general, trauma, orthopedic, vascular, gynecological, urological, bariatric, and thoracic surgeries.
• Float: None.
• Additional Information: The position is located in a facility with 495 beds, offering a dynamic surgical environment. Candidates should be familiar with Epic electronic medical records. Participation in on-call rotations, which may include weekends, is required, averaging 6-8 calls per month. Attire is scrubs, with a dress code of blue, following facility policy.
