Apply today!ResponsibilitiesUser Support: Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues, serving as the primary local point of contact for the Florida region.System Maintenance: Assist with the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of computers, servers, and mobile devices, including performing regular updates and patchesOperations & Logistics: Help manage the full employee lifecycle, from setting up user accounts and hardware during onboarding to maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assetsCompliance & Security: Follow established IT procedures for data backups, disaster recovery, and software licensing to ensure a secure and reliable environmentCollaboration & Escalation: Work closely with the national IT team on special projects and escalate complex technical issues to senior staff or vendors when necessaryContinuous Learning: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and best practices to help optimize local department operationsQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical certifications and experience.2+ years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.Proficiency with Windows and/or Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business software applications.Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware (e.g., routers, switches, VPN).Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond to user needs in a timely mannerPreferred QualificationsService Excellence: A proven track record of providing "white-glove" technical support, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions for non-technical usersElite Troubleshooting: Advanced diagnostic skills with a "find-a-way" mentality—someone who thrives on digging into the root cause of persistent technical issues rather than just applying a quick fixConsistent Reliability: A dependable professional who excels at managing day-to-day technical needs and responding to user requests with a strong sense of urgencyCalm Under Pressure: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional and communicative during high-priority technical outages or tight project deadlinesProactive Technical Curiosity: A self-starter who stays current with emerging technology trends and actively seeks out ways to optimize local IT operationsThis is a 100% in-office position, so must be within a commutable distance to the Jacksonville, FL office.Travel RequirementsThis position may require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities — up to 20%, primarily to offices in the Florida region to assist with on-site IT troubleshooting, system deployments, training, or related technical activities.
