Job Summary
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) located in Portland, Maine. This position involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment with procedures such as ENT, dental, plastics, pediatric, trauma, head and neck surgeries, and more. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers the potential for occasional weekends or call responsibilities.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, with hours from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm (36 hours/week) or 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (40 hours/week).
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, and one year of experience. Experience in ENT, dental, plastics, pediatric, trauma level 1 environments, and the ability to function in a face-paced setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and membership in the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) are preferred but not necessary.
• Additional Information: No float rotation required. The RN will be working with a unit that performs complex procedures, including head and neck cancer surgeries, cochlear implants, and facial plastics. Scrubs are provided; no unacceptable attire noted.
• Shift Time: Day shift, with hours from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm or 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week.
