Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients in various settings including floor care, ER, and as part of the Rapid Response Team.
• Participate in code response as required by facility protocols.
• Prepare and administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Float between units as necessary based on patient acuity and department needs.

Qualifications

• Current Washington Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Preferred experience in Trauma Level I facilities.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience with diverse respiratory therapies such as BiPAP, CPAP, and Pulmonary Hygiene.
• Proven ability to interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs).
