Dental Assistant certification as required by state regulations. Previous oral surgery or dental assisting experience preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification. Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and sterilization procedures. Experience assisting with surgical procedures, extractions, and implant cases preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism. Summary The Oral Surgery Dental Assistant plays a critical role in supporting oral surgery procedures and ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
