Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The candidate should possess excellent communication abilities, a proactive attitude, and a keen eye for detail, even with limited direct supervision.

Requirements:

• Associates degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or truckload dispatch.
• Proven ability to schedule and track drivers and shipments efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities, especially in emergency or routine situations.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• HOS and DOT regulations experience
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities, maintaining diplomacy, confidentiality, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure and schedule appointments, as necessary, via telephone, email, or customer portals.
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries with customers, meeting expected deadlines.
• Manually inputting customer orders into TMS, paying attention to detail on rates and temperature accuracy, and transit time.
• Communicate with customers via email, offering updates on current shipments and addressing frequent inquiries.
• Monitor all shipments currently in transit or scheduled for transit, including manual reporting to customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) concerning shipments and deliveries.
• Reporting OS&D issues to customers and following through with disposition.

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend schedule.
