Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at the Tupper Lake Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation services we provide to our residents, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care that meets the highest standards. If you share our commitment to exceptional patient care and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, Key Responsibilities: Oversee Rehabilitation Services: Direct and manage the rehabilitation department, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, ensuring that we meet the needs of our residents and exceed their expectations. Develop and Implement Rehabilitation Programs: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and achieve their goals. Manage Staff and Resources: Supervise and evaluate a team of rehabilitation professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional care. Monitor Quality and Outcomes: Track and analyze rehabilitation outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of care we provide. Foster Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, social services, and admissions, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Requirements: Education: Licensure to practice therapy Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of rehabilitation professionals; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
