Senior Accountant - Consolidations

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing professional services organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is a highly visible role that will support the monthly close process, financial reporting, consolidations, audit activities, and special projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and operational sides of accounting and is looking to take ownership while working closely with leadership. Key Responsibilities Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany and consolidation entries Assist with the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedules Analyze financial results and investigate variances Support annual audits and interim review requirements Play a key role in maintaining and improving accounting systems and reporting processes Assist with acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic projects Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory reporting requirements Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams on ad hoc projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a mid-size or large organization Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Prior experience working with consolidations, intercompany transactions, and multiple entities preferred CPA or CPA-track is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment Self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr
