Do you thrive when working across organizational boundaries to create a single, aligned plan?We are looking for a Supply Planner who operates at the heart of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle for the domain Distribution, working in a matrix organization with other domains and corporate planning.Your RoleAs a Supply Planner, you are responsible for translating demand signals into a realistic, feasible supply plan, taking into account constraints across materials, suppliers, capacity and execution.In this context, you:Translate demand into supply scenariosIdentify constraints and risksEnable cross-functional decision-making within your domain and x-domainsSupport meaningful discussions in monthly S&OP / IBP meetingsKey Responsibilities1. Supply Planning & Scenario BuildingDevelop realistic supply plans based on available capacity, supplier capabilities and network constraintsIdentify critical components and capacity constrain and drive mitigation actionIdentify gaps between demand and supply capability and define mitigation scenariosEvaluate trade-offs across service, inventory, cost and working capital2. Operating in a Matrix OrganizationWork closely with supply planners in and across your domain to align supply plansEnsure consistency between local plans and the integrated planAct as a connector between central planning, domains and execution functions3. IBP / S&OP ParticipationContribute to the monthly supply planning step within the IBP / S&OP cyclePrepare inputs for planning and decision meetingsHighlight risks, assumptions and decision pointsEnsure alignment between:Demand planningSupply planningResource/capacity planningFinancial planningHandover decision from S&OP towards S&OE to execute4. Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, finance and project teamsAlign top-down financial targets with bottom-up operational plansSupport resolution of supply constraints and operational challengesLinking pin with NPI to ensure new product data available in the planning tool and properly embed in the planning process5. Network & Materials Planning IntegrationProvide visibility on shortages and surpluses across sites and suppliersEnable network-level decision making by consolidating planning inputsAlign with procurement to ensure material availability and supplier performanceIdentify critical components and capacity constrain and drive mitigation action6. Execution & Plan TranslationTranslate approved supply plans into ERP / execution systemsManage plan changes, project updates and supply chain exceptionsEnsure alignment between tactical plans and operational execution7. Continuous Improvement & Planning MaturityImprove planning processes, data quality and KPI transparencyContribute to increasing planning maturity in areas such as:Inventory alignmentExecution prioritizationStructured decision makingWhat You BringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related fieldExperience in supply planning, material planning, S&OP or IBP environmentsExperience in working in a matrix organization and cross-functional teamsStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and decisionsStrong (senior) stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience with ERP and planning tools (e.g. SAP, JDE, Anaplan, or similar)Ability to balance short-term execution with mid- to long-term planningKey CompetenciesCross-functional collaboration: effectively working across domains and hierarchy levelsAnalytical thinking: translating data into decisions and scenariosInfluencing without authority: effective in a matrix organizationDecision-making: balancing trade-offs across service, cost, inventory and capacityProcess orientation: contributing to structured IBP / S&OP processesSummaryLocation: Marietta, GA USAType: Full time
