Social Media Content Manager & Researcher Public Art Nonprofit

We are a Baltimore-based public art nonprofit connecting Baltimore to the world through large-scale mural commissions, international artist exchanges, and community-centered programming. We're looking for a creative, organized, and culturally curious Social Media Content Manager & Researcher to join our small team as we enter one of our most active program years yet.

This is a hands-on internship for someone who wants real responsibility, not busy work. You'll help shape how a growing nonprofit tells its story in public, at a moment when that story is genuinely worth telling.

What you'll do:

• Research and draft content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, and TikTok in alignment with our editorial voice and content calendar
• Support the documentation and storytelling arc of active programs, including an international artist exchange and a community mural project
• Source and fact-check historical, cultural, and community context that informs our educational and brand-building content
• Assist with scheduling and publishing posts using Later
• Help maintain and update our content calendar in Monday.com
• Flag engagement opportunities and surface relevant conversations happening in the Baltimore arts and culture space

What we're looking for:

• Genuine interest in public art, community development, or urban culture
• Strong writing skills and an instinct for voice and tone
• Comfort with or curiosity about social media strategy — not just posting, but thinking about why and for whom
• Research skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Later, Monday.com, or similar tools is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively in a remote or hybrid setting
