Accounting Assistant

Dutchman Hospitality Group is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our corporate finance team. This is a full-time role with opportunity to grow, working closely with our Accounting Supervisor and gaining hands on experience across core accounting functions.

What You'll Do:
• Support month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare reports that help leaders make informed decisions
• Support Accounts Payable
• Assist with Bi-weekly payroll
• Help document and streamline team processes
• Other duties as requested

Desired Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skill level in Excel
• Knowledge of Sage software a plus
• Knowledge of Paycor a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment

Education and Experience:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skill level in Excel

5. Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
6. Able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
7. Position requires sitting for extended periods of time
8. 2+ years' experience working in Accounts Payable & General Ledger preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
