Marina Manager

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced manager to lead and overhaul a boat repair facility in St. Marks, FL. This is a hands-on management role overseeing technicians, customer service, vendors, workflow, and department profitability. The manager will not perform mechanical repairs but must understand service operations and confidently hold the team accountable. This is an onsite, five-day-per-week, temp-to-perm position reporting directly to leadership, with potential conversion after three to six months based on performance. Temporary housing may be available for a relocating candidate. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the service technicians and support staff Manage scheduling, work orders, technician workflow, and repair timelines Establish SOPs, opening and closing checklists, deposit requirements, and department policies Implement and manage new boatyard service software Oversee customer communication and resolve service-related concerns Manage parts ordering and vendor relationships Negotiate pricing and monitor departmental margins and profitability Maintain manufacturer and dealership relationships and designations Ensure employees follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards Qualifications Service management experience within marine, automotive, heavy equipment, tractor, powersports, or a similar dealership or repair environment Experience supervising technicians and managing service workflows Strong knowledge of parts ordering, vendor management, pricing, and margins Comfortable implementing new systems, procedures, and accountability standards Tech-savvy and able to learn new service or boatyard management software Strong customer service and communication skills Decisive, hands-on leader capable of turning around an underperforming department Marine industry experience is preferred but not required Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
