Project EngineerThe Project Engineer is responsible to support project manager(s) and collaboratively work with internal administration, support and technical personnel, as well as external customers in coordinating and supporting mechanical service and construction activities to meet both project and company objectives. Supports all aspects of projects within the established budget and time allotted according to the contract documents, plans and specifications to the Owner/Client satisfaction and in the best interest of Trautman & Shreve.Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, peers, supervisors, administrative staff, field craft workers, field supervision, vendors, and subcontractors based on respect, trust and integrityEstimate, budget and control labor and material costUnderstand project plans, specifications and schedule as well as the resources necessary to complete the project on time and within budgetPrepare timely, accurate and complete project documentation, including but not limited to, RFI's submittals, schedule updates, time records, supplemental work orders, change order pricing, and general project correspondenceConduct, document and track procurement activities and efforts, but not limited to, commodity materials, consumables, necessary tools and equipment, major equipment packages and subcontractsCoordinate, schedule and support quality assurance, safety and subcontract workThe specific daily tasks may vary by project type, project requirements, and project schedule.1-3 years related experience in construction industry preferred.High School diploma or GED required.Bachelor of Science Degree with a Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management focus OR pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management focusExperience at the advanced level using Accubid, Microsoft Project and BluebeamFamiliarity with local municipal jurisdictional procedures with regard to plan reviews, permitting, applicable codes, inspections, etc.Compensation Range: Minimum $65,000 maximum $75,000Other Compensation: position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.Benefits: As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, EMCOR Group is committed to its employees.
