Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Loaders and Unloaders for busy distribution centers and freight logistics hubs across the St. Louis metro area. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.50 per hour depending on shift and assignment. With multiple shift options open, you can find a schedule that works for you.


In this physical role, you will be on the front lines of logistics-loading outbound trailers, unloading incoming freight shipments, and keeping warehouse inventory moving efficiently and safely.

What You Will Do

• Manually load and unload freight, boxes, and materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
• Stack, palletize, and shrink-wrap materials securely to prevent shipment damage.
• Sort, scan, and stage incoming packages according to zip codes, routes, or warehouse bin locations.
• Use manual or electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts to move materials across the warehouse floor.
• Inspect incoming freight for damage, correct quantities, and label accuracy.
• Maintain a fast, safe pace while following all warehouse safety guidelines and keeping work areas clean.

What You Need

• Previous warehouse, loading/unloading, or heavy material handling experience is preferred (entry-level candidates with strong work ethics are welcome to apply).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50+ lbs consistently throughout your shift.
• Comfort working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment (bending, stretching, standing, and lifting).
• Strong attention to detail to ensure freight is handled safely and stacked properly.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and reliable transportation every day.
• Ability to pass standard background screening and drug testing requirements.
