Kitchen Staff Position
Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas.
Busses tables and helps keep our kitchen stocked and ready to go.
Sweep, scrub, mop floors. Sanitize countertops and cooking services.
Wipe down and sanitize wash basins and prep sinks.
Empty and clean trash containers. Pick up litter around property.
Take kitchen inventory and report any low-stock produce and kitchen supplies to the Head Chef. Report any need repairs.
Sort, wash, load and unload dishes, and then put dishes away in storage areas.
Take care of our guests and help answer their questions. Be familiar with property amenities, local recommendations and fun things to do in the area.
Prep food on the line as needed.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Great customer service skills and a professional, friendly, low-drama attitude.
Strong verbal communication skills and a team player mindset.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and to keep on track, even when things get busy.
A knack for keeping things neat and organized, and an eye for detail.
1+ years' previous culinary team experience preferred.
Fluent in English. Bilingual a plus!
Cooking is an active role, involving frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting.
Lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
Pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Remaining on your feet for extended periods of time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud (typical of a restaurant setting).
