Physical Therapist - Travel Position in Montana

Location: Montana

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Varies; work weekend 1x/month in acute/inpatient setting.

Job Description: This role involves organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy, aimed at addressing impairments and functional limitations to improve the patient's quality of life following injury or disease. The assessments and treatments will take into account the patient's gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and rehabilitation efforts.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduated from an accredited professional education program by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Montana.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain empathy and understanding towards patients.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
